This harness is good for small and big dogs, especially the ones that don’t like to wear clothes in the winter. You can also make one to go hiking with your dog or for the hot summer with cooling gel beads like the polymer cooling beads inside to keep your dog cool. If you are adding the cooling features like the polymer beads, make sure you don’t add too much and use the appropriate fabrics for evaporation,
heat release, absorption, and keep your dog dry and cool. If you would like the Harness top to be more feminine, instead of adding a functional pocket to the harness, you can add ruffles to make it look like a dress. Use my Bella Frill Dress for ruffle reference.
Please note, this is a base pattern, you might need to adjust the patterns to fit your dog.
Print on 8.5" x 11" paper

I could make something to fit a miniature Italian greyhound, but I need the measurements. I have never had an Italian greyhound before so I don't have any measurements to create patterns.

The measurements I came up with are: Center Back Length 23.5", Neck Circumference 18", Girth Circumference 29", Center Front Length 21", Chest Width 3"
I don't know how to apply the measurements to the pattern. I really don't sew but I think I'd like to try this to make a new vest for my SD. I've bought two vests at considerable expense but they shift on him due to his narrow chest and significant length. He is a lean, long handsome boy. :)
Can anyone help me?

Some friends and I are starting a non-profit company to make coats for homeless people using foam as the insulation layer. This foam clothing is very effective because it will keep you warm even if it gets wet. Someone suggested that people with pets who find themselves homeless would appreciate a coat for their companions. I have never had a dog and am not an animal lover myself, but I really like your posts about the Bella Frill Dress and this harness coat. These designs seem the best to adapt to our foam clothing concept.
Would you be willing to donate or sell the rights to use your patterns in our commercial foam clothing production?
We plan to set up our business as a "buy one - donate one" business model, similar to Tom's Shoes and Bomba's Socks. When a customer purchases a product the purchase price covers the cost of that product plus the cost to produce another one to be donated.
We would love to advertise for you on our website (that we are setting up at this time) and/or include a credit to your design on our labels. Your patterns and designs are really the best ones I've seen...
Thanks for your time!

Ditto all my praise on your instructions for measuring your dog. Would you be willing to allow us to use your instructions so our clients can get a good fit on their dog coats?
We will respect your ownership of the designs and patterns.
Thanks Again!!!
