Bella Frill Dress (For Small Dogs)

Always consider adoption first.  Adopting a pet in need of a loving home, rather than purchasing one. There are thousands of homeless pets in need for someone like you.

 

Bella is a new member to our family. She was adopted a year ago from a local shelter and was about to be put down. Due to the fact that she is 6 years old and needs a lot of care after surgery on her eye, if no one adopts her, she is next on the list to be put down.

When we adopted her, we took her to our vet and were told she had a very bad eye infection on the eye that she had surgery on. Before Dr. N.  prescribe some antibiotics, we were told that if her eye have gotten worse even taking antibiotics. She would have to go for a second surgery to re-open the eye & fix the problem. Dr. N. also stated that the 1^st surgery made the 2^nd surgery a little more complicated.  We gave antibiotics to Bella for a week and hope for the best. Luckily, Bella was all better by the time we had a follow up visit to Dr. N’s office. We didn’t know where she came from or what had happened to her, nor does the shelter have any information about her past. We were told she was found hurt badly.

Bella was so frighten of everything when we first adopted her. Now she is the boss in this family and takes over everything, even our other dog has to give in to her. We are so happy to have adopted her. She is so loving and affectionate. Last month, she had her annual doctor’s visit; she was healthy and gained a little since we have adopted her. To this day, we still continue to monitor her bad eye. It is her one year anniversary with us this October.  Therefore, I have made her this little Bella Frill Dress, named after her.
